Gillian Striano-Kaplan, DVM

Dr. Gillian Striano-Kaplan graduated from Ross University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, located on the island of St. Kitts, West Indies. During her time on island she worked with The Sea Turtle Monitoring Network, contributing to vital research needed to help these endangered species. She completed her clinical year at Texas A&M and a 5 week externship working with the Veterinary staff and Rescue team at Mystic Aquarium.
Following graduation, she completed a 1 year surgical and medical rotating internship at The Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Long Island, NY. Upon completion, Dr. Kaplan worked as an emergency clinician at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists in Connecticut. She joined Ramsey Veterinary Hospital in 2018.
Dr. Kaplan has a strong passion for veterinary medicine and is truly committed to each of her patients and their families. Her patience, dedication, compassion and kindness are evident in all that she does. Her specific interests include emergency medicine, pain management, soft tissue surgery and diagnostic ultrasound.
